Winter is coming...
Hi Everyone, I hope you all had a great summer. Now that Winter is coming ...We need to get ready!
The Question Often Asked Is When Do I Put On My Cold Weather/Winter Tires?
The answer to that question is when temperatures reach 7 degree Celsius and below. When this occurs cold weather/winter tires rubber compound grips more than all season / summer tires on dry, wet or snow covered pavement. Up to 25% better stopping distance.
I agree with this statement however I believe the time to put cold weather/winter tires on is now. Morning & evening temperatures are in the 7 degree Celsius range. Be proactive and you will not be caught off guard with morning or evening frost and slippery road conditions while your cold weather/winter tires are on a shelf. It would be nice to wake up knowing the unpredictable weather at this time of the year will not compromise your ability to drive safely. Avoid waiting till the first snow fall and the panic to get your cold weather/winter tires on immediately. Avoid having to schedule your vehicle weeks later as everyone wants to put on their cold weather/winter tires on at the exact same time. Enjoy the benefits and rewards of the peace of mind!
I recommend you schedule an appointment to put on your cold weather/winter tires sooner than later.
Vehicles Need To Be Winter Ready
Both cold temperatures and harsh weather conditions add stress to our vehicles. Fluids, battery, charging system, brakes system, suspension and wipers are all required to be performing at their best. Vehicle break down and failure is a hassle at any time, but winter is the worst. You do not want to be stuck at the side of the road on a cold and snowy day.
Schedule your vehicle today for our Seasonal Maintenance Package that includes a lube, oil & filter change and a comprehensive vehicle inspection that ensures your vehicle is winter ready.
Oil, Not Gasoline Is The Life Blood Of Any Vehicle Engine
Oil is the bloodline of a vehicle. Without oil, the lifespan of an engine would be very short. Many of today's vehicles incorporate more synthetic base which offers excellent protection and longer life. The longer life oil has resulted in extended oil change intervals. The extended intervals have compounded with technology design flaws and led to formulation of sludge. This had led to excessive wear of engine components, which leads to oil becoming the blame.
Oil is not the blame. We need to check our oil regularly and replace it on time..sooner not later is much better.
**Ask about the DE-CARBONIZATION PACKAGE - this includes a complete engine flush (removing sludge build up)**
